Who We Are

Margot - The Designer, Drafter and Organiser

I have a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design* and 8 years’ experience in the Building & Design Industry in Noosa and surroundings. I was a designer and manager (design and production) at Modern Nova for 5 years; before this, I worked at Distinctive Stone as an estimator and drafter.

I am French (living in Australia since 2013) so be assured that I bring a little ‘je ne sais quoi’ to every project!

Thanks to Industrial Design and my curated processes; I create spaces that are visually appealing, practical for the user (You!) and designed in a way that takes the manufacture processes into consideration – meaning you always get the best “Bang for your Buck”!

*Industrial Design focuses on creating the balance in a product’s ergonomics (user experience), form and function. Industrial Design involves processes that combine creativity, knowledge of trends and technical knowledge of materials and their manufacture.

Adam - The Cabinetmaker and 2pac Painter Virtuoso

My partner Adam (in life and in business, aka Creative Joinery) is a Cabinetmaker and Joiner with 35+ years’ experience.

He has a personal interest in hardware, fixings, polymers and building materials so I know we can achieve a plethora of shapes and finishes; I just have to design them! And I know we’ll figure the best way to produce a spectacular result.

Adam is always up to brainstorm with me on projects and their feasibility so you can benefit from our wide array of skills and industry knowledge early in the Design Process.

What began as a shared passion for creation, design and building projects has evolved into a collaboration that feels completely natural.

We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.

We pour our Hearts, Smarts and Souls in all our projects and with such complementary skills, we achieve greatness!

What We Believe In - Our Vision

We believe in simple ideas, strong relationships, and lasting impact.

We focus on an ‘old school’ approach to customer service and quality of work which we have noticed is sadly missing at times in the design and building industry.

Patience: We believe in taking the time you require through the process to provide you with the best customer experience. I want you to be comfortable at every step of the process.

Skills and Crafts: My partner, my colleagues and myself are highly skilled and have a strong work ethic. We deliver quality work, done with pride, integrity and honesty.

‘Artificial Intelligence’ – nope, thanks: I don’t believe in using any AI tools in my creative/administrative processes. I am ‘Home and Soul’ so I use my own (and completely natural!) intelligence, skills and soul to create. Logo, website, pictures, socials, designs, spreadsheets, charts… They’re all parts of what makes my work incredibly interesting and those are the skills I want to make available to you and your project. I wouldn’t trust anyone/anything(!) but me to do my work and provide fantastic results.

Modesty: I am humble and provide an ego-free experience during the Design Process. See me as a translator of your wants and needs into designs you’ll love for years to come! What is important to you is important to me.

Long-Term Relationships: The time we share with our Clients helping them in their renovation (or new build) journeys creates strong relationships that last with time. Communication: I don’t believe you can ‘over-communicate’ so I keep the communication gates wide open for the duration of the project. I create and share a lot of documents and emails to help you along the way: you to always know what I need from you next to be able to move efficiently through the processes.
