This Laundry room was part of a very large renovation, encompassing important changes in the living area layout. We worked on the Kitchen, Pantry, Ensuite and Bathroom vanities… The Laundry too needed upgrading!

While the Laundry layout didn’t change, we transformed the space into a much nicer area of the home with complementing finishes. Truly, it’s a whole new world!

We decided to move the tub all the way to the window side of the room. This allowed us to create a work area that is filled with beautiful natural light. Thanks to the open shelves above (which aren’t as deep as the overhead cabinets), Charmaine could create this cute little nook and feel comfortable using her Laundry space.

Moving the tub also enabled us a certain symmetry in the base cabinets. Cabinets are now either side of the washing machine and dryer; an option which Charmaine and I found aesthetically pleasing.

Note how the timber-look board “grain matches” on the overheads.

I made sure the timber pattern would run across the face of the cabinets. This is only possible when the cabinetry sizes and material sizes are congruent - which was the case here!

This is the attention to detail that makes all the difference when paired with a profound product knowledge.
